FAQ

What are your rates for vacation rental photography?

My rates for Airbnb photography are tailored to the specific needs of each property, including its size, amenities, level of detail, and the number of images. Packages start at $1100.

For properties that require additional storytelling, I also offer the option to include models or pets to showcase lifestyle elements. Depending on the scope, I can provide either a full-day or half-day package to best suit your project.

I’d be happy to learn more about your property and create a customized package to help achieve your goals.

How long will the photo session be?

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the scope of the project. Sessions typically range from 3-6 hrs depending on the size of the home & features to be highlighted.

What is the turnaround time for receiving the edited photos?

Typically, after your selections are made from the proof gallery, you can expect to receive the edited photos within 10 business days after the photoshoot.

Can we incorporate pets or models into my session?

It's important to note that incorporating models will require extra time during the session, and we can discuss adding this to your package to accommodate the extended duration. A full or 2 day shoot may be required.

TIP* When adding models to your session for lifestyle images, I recommend using friends or family as your models. This helps create a comfortable and authentic atmosphere during the shoot.

Can I use the photos for marketing purposes beyond Airbnb listings?

If you would like to use the photos for marketing purposes beyond your vacation rental, we can absolutely discuss your needs! For example, if you were the interior designer or contractor of the property, and you would like to use the images on your website; we can create a tailored license agreement to accommodate your needs.

Who owns the images?

The copyright of the photos remains with the photographer. Upon purchase of the images, you will own a license for the photos as outlined in our agreement to market your property.

Should I style my property with decor or textiles for the session?

A well-styled and clean space not only looks more attractive in photos but also allows us to focus on highlighting the unique features and selling points of your property. Incorporating perishable items like flowers, or local food & drink is an excellent strategy to add an authentic touch. It is crucial for styling and cleaning to be done before the photoshoot to maximize our time and ensure we capture the best possible images of your property. We will discuss in our consultation call to ensure everything is ready for the shoot day.

I have a unique property that I'd like shot at different times throughout the day. Can you do this?

Capturing your property at various times—such as sunrise, midday, and evening—can beautifully showcase its unique features and amenities. This type of shoot typically requires a 1-2 night stay for the photographer. I’d be happy to create a custom package tailored to your needs.

Can I use these images for MLS?

MLS use is not included as part of the standard package. The images you receive are licensed for marketing purposes for the vacation rental only. MLS (Multiple Listing Service) usage is a separate type of license because it’s for a different purpose—selling the property. If you need MLS usage, let me know in our consult call, and I can easily add that to your package for an additional fee.
